有二種句型，分別接名詞及動名詞，前面的主詞多為個人或機構。

很多近視的人都選擇戴隱形眼鏡。
A句 Many person who has eye-signed choose to wear contact.
B句 Many people who are nearsighted choose to wear contact lenses.
【解析】
1. 近視的形容詞是nearsighted，名詞是nearsightedness。
2. 隱形眼鏡較正式的用法是 contact lenses，而contacts是較口語化。

1.Contacts let us 其中可改成contacts enable us
「卸下」的英文可用unload。但unload有二種意思，一是卸下貨物，另一個是傾吐情緒煩。
1. Unload cargo from a truck；unload your grief by telling a friend.但是鏡片不是貨物也非情緒，因此不適合用unload，應該用get rid of(擺脫)較合適。

1.句子中的「疏於」若用ignore來翻的話。Ignore是「故意不予理會、故意忽略」的意思，但這句可能只是人們一時懶惰而忘記清潔隱形眼鏡，而非故意忽略，因此只要說明「未清潔」事實即可，不要涉及意圖。
2.「our contact lenses」加our是限定清潔的是每個人的隱形眼鏡。

3. Can get infected，若用助動詞can的話，有「一定」會感染的意味，過於武斷，可改用可能性較低的may；inflammation(發炎)，若是翻成have inflammation，have有自己想要的意味，但有那個人會願意受感染而發炎呢？若是要用名詞的inflammation的話，可寫成cause inflammation or suffer inflammation。但get inflected and cause inflammation，連接詞前後的屬性要一致，所以寫成 get inflected and become inflamed。

但是如果長時間配戴的話，往往會造成眼睛的不適。
However, if we wear contact lenses for a long

[解析]
長時間若翻成for too long的話，若沒有註釋的話，除可解釋為一整天配戴時間過久，也可解釋為戴了好幾年，因此each day再讓語意再精確。
因為戴隱形眼鏡一定是讓眼睛不舒服，因此沒有必要加ours，但若造成身體其它部位的話，就要說明清楚。
「然而…不過」都可以用副詞however跟nevertheless，且後者比前者再正式。however用在前後句子觀點明顯對比時，以本文為例，前面提及戴隱形眼睛的好處，這裡就轉折點出缺點。
